Terms and conditions
These terms of sale apply to all goods and services supplied by Dalmore Croft Limited (‘we’, ‘us’), registered in Scotland company no. SC311742
No contract exists between you and Dalmore Croft, for the sale of any goods until Dalmore Croft has received and accepted your order and sends you confirmation in writing or by email to the address or email address you have given. Once Dalmore Croft does so, there is a binding legal contract between us.
The contract is subject to your right of cancellation (see below).
Dalmore Croft may change these terms of sale without notice to you in relation to future sales.
Description and price of goods
The description and price of the goods you order will be as shown on this website at the time you place your order.
The goods are subject to availability. If on receipt of your order the goods you have ordered are not available for delivery within 7 days, we will inform you as soon as possible, and refund or re-credit you for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit card for the goods as required.
Every effort is made to ensure that prices shown on our website are accurate at the time you place your order. If an error is found, we will inform you as soon as possible and offer you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling your order. If you cancel, we will refund or re-credit you for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit card for the goods.
In addition to the price, you may be required to pay a delivery charge for the goods, as shown on the website.
The price of the goods and delivery charges are inclusive of VAT.
Payment
Payment for the goods and delivery charges can be made by any method shown on our website at the time you place your order. Payment is only accepted in GBP.
Delivery
The goods you order will be delivered to the address you provide when you place your order.
If delivery cannot be made to your address, we will inform you as soon as possible, and refund or re-credit you for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit card for delivery.
Every effort will be made to deliver the goods as soon as possible after your order has been accepted, and in any event within 8 days of your order. However, we will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by you through any reasonable or unavoidable delay in delivery.
You will become the owner of the goods you ordered and responsible for risk of loss of or damage to them once they have been delivered to you.
Your right to cancel
To exercise your right of cancellation, you must give written notice, before the order is processed for delivery, to us by hand, post, or email, at the postal address or email address shown below, giving details of the goods ordered.
Once you have notified us that you are cancelling the contract, we will refund or re-credit you within 10 days for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit card for the goods.
Due to the nature of some of the goods sold by Dalmore Croft, which are perishable and deteriorate in a relatively short time, distance selling regulations do not apply to these products and you have no right to cancel an order once it has been processed for delivery.
Farm tour cancellation policy
Please contact us if you wish to cancel a farm tour booking. We will issue refunds or transfer bookings to other dates on this basis:
- Cancellations more than 48 hours before the tour – full refund (less PayPal fees if paid by PayPal) or transfer to another date, subject to availability.
- Cancellations more than 24-48 hours before the tour – transfer to another date, subject to availability.
- Cancellations within 24 hours of the tour – no refund or transfer.
Since our tours are normally fully-booked we do not offer refunds or transfers for cancellations made within 24 hours of the tour date and time.
Course cancellation policy
Please contact us if you wish to cancel a course booking. We will issue refunds or transfer bookings to other dates on this basis:
- Cancellations more than 7 days before the course – full refund (less PayPal fees if paid by PayPal) or transfer to another date or another course of the same value, subject to availability.
- Cancellations more than 2 days hours before the course – transfer to another date or another course of the same value, subject to availability.
- Cancellations within 2 days of the course – no refund or transfer.
Since our courses are often fully-booked and delivered by external tutors we are unable to offer refunds or transfers for cancellations made within 2 days of the course date.
Data protection
We will take all reasonable precautions to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but unless Dalmore Croft is negligent, we will not be liable for unauthorised access to information supplied by you.
We will only use the information you provide about yourself for the purpose of fulfilling your order, unless you agree otherwise.You can correct any information about you, or ask for information about you to be deleted, by giving written notice to Dalmore Croft at the postal address or email address shown below.
Applicable law
These terms of sale and the supply of the goods will be subject to Scottish law, and the Scottish courts will have exclusive jurisdiction in respect of any dispute arising from the contract.
